The Young Christian
The story of Freddie, a new believer
The Young Christian, formerly known by the title Save the Erring, is the story of Freddie. He’s a boy who had always been rebellious and difficult to control. Freddie is sent to a quite school in the country, in hopes of seeing changes in his life.
Among the new friends Charlie makes there — some of whom are not so good for him, after all — is Joe. Easily spotting Charlie’s rebel heart, Joe prays for guidance when he suspects Freddie had stolen some money. When he becomes aware of reasons for alarm that Freddie may be on some dangerous paths, the Lord uses Joe to show him a better way of life.
Follow Freddie through the pages of this Christian children’s story, seeing his transformation from a very self-willed child to a true witness to all his friends for the Savior. We consider this one of our very best stories for boys 12 years of age and under.
