The Fruit of the Spirit is Love
A Small Group Bible Study
Before His death, Jesus said ‘A new command I give you: love one another. I have loved you, so you must love one another.’ (John 13:34). He said our love would identify us as His disciples. Through the ages men and women have attempted to define love, and although it is multi-faceted, the life of Jesus Christ is without a doubt the ultimate definition of love. His was a life of sacrifice and service, and we are called to imitate Him in this.
Lynn Stanley’s practical illustrations in this book are powerful tools to help readers apply what the Scriptures teach about love to their lives. In this study, she addresses also how we can learn to practice love towards our enemies: loving those who mistreat us and to manifest the most difficult expression of love: forgiveness.
