The Attributes of God for Kids
A devotional for parents and kids ages 4-11
The Attributes of God For Kids is a rich study of this vital subject, for elementary age children and parents. Based on A.W. Tozer’s classic book The Knowledge of the Holy, this book walks through 10 unique and 11 moral attributes of God. Fun questions, age appropriate readings, and memorization tools allow parents to shape their children’s understanding of God’s character.
This bright and engaging resource includes suggested readings from chapters of The Jesus Storybook Bible and Seeds Family Worship Songs that can be utilized in a children’s ministry or school setting.
Author Lydia White says about her book:
God reminded me that our job is simply to point their hearts toward Him. Our kids don’t just need to know about God, they need to meet Him. That starts with teaching our children the attributes of God. When they meet God, they’ll know who it is they’re trusting, they’ll know what is right and wrong, and they’ll know who God has made them to be.
Unable to find a children’s devotional that walked through the attributes of God, I began to write one, and when artist Taylor Nelson sat down next to me at a women’s ministry event, the rough draft started to turn into reality.
My prayer is that this book helps many children and their parents know who God is and who He has made them to be!

About the Artist
Taylor Nelson’s illustration career started early as she filled the margins of her Sunday morning church bulletins with whimsy. She grew in her knowledge and practice of the art while studying apparel and textile design at Kansas State University, and a winding career path led to her love of book illustration. Her husband Jesse is a greenhouse man and together they are raising two little ones in Kansas City.
“I’m passionate about kitchen table discipleship and kingdom building in the home with our littles. This is a fantastic tool for teaching your kids, ages 4-11, about God and who He is. The Attributes of God For Kids has been such a great read for me and Nora this year. And I love it so much! Trust me, you want this devotional!” — Lauren Eberspacher, blogger at From Blacktop to Dirt Road
“We needed something age-appropriate, engaging, and biblically truthful. Something worth the time and effort of doing family devotions. My girls love listening and answering the questions. I love that my kids are learning the most important subject – who God is.” — Diana Waird, Kansas City Moms blogger at Life on Olive Street
