Teaching Helps in James
Dr. Richard Belcher, former professor at Columbia Bible College, has written numerous other volumes in his Ministry Helps series, on various biblical books. This one provides a complete outline for teachers and preachers on the Epistle of James.
Actually, the volume presents two outlines of James:
- First, a 7 page introductory outline
- Second, a 57 page detailed outline
Dr. Belcher’s work could be used as an aid to preach or teach a series through the epistle of James, in a few lessons, perhaps one based on each chapter. It could likewise be used just as effectively as a skeleton to build an extended series through James. In either case, whether for a brief study or an extended series, these outlines can save the teacher many hours of detailed and meticulous labor; as well as serving as an example of the type of work you may want to learn to do yourself in other biblical books.
