Restoring Those Who Fall
A Church Discipline Statement
Christ, the Head of the church, has instructed His people to practice church discipline: often called “the least-obeyed command in the New Testament.” Nonetheless, we ought to obey: and this requires that serious-minded, obedient churches ought to study and compare the several relevant passages of Scripture and formulate a comprehensive plan for restoring those who fall into sin.
This will keep us prepared to act lovingly and righteously towards those who continue in disobedience, and even towards those who fall once, but into a grave and serious sin. This booklet is a helpful start at a policy statement for a church seeking to be faithful to obey Christ in this area.
