About the Authors

Steve & Susie Castleberry have raised eight children in Poplar, Wisconsin and are the co-authors of 15 books.

Dr. Steve Castleberry, a professor in the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Marketing Department, was appointed the Faculty Athletic Representative at UMD in July 2014.

Castleberry, who oversees UMD’s marketing and graphic design major, joined the Labovitz School of Business and Economics faculty in 1992 and among the classes he currently teaches is Sports Marketing, which he helped create. Over the past several years he has worked closely with Bulldog athletics, providing support with an extensive sports marketing internship program and also lending his expertise in the areas of sponsorships, event management and fan experiences.

Prior to his arrival at UMD, he held positions at Northern Illinois University (UARCO Professor of Sales and Marketing endowed chair) and the University of Georgia.

Among the honors that have been bestowed on Steven Castleberry are the Horace T. Morse Distinguished Teaching Award, Hormel Meritorious Teaching Award, Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year Award, Ideal Industries Excellence in Teaching Award, Merrell Dow Outstanding Teacher of the Year, NCR Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Undergraduate Program, UMD Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award and the LSBE Faculty Service Award. He and his wife, Susie, have eight children and reside in Poplar, Wisconsin
