Loving the Church
God’s People Flourishing in God’s Family
Loving the Church reminds us how glorious God’s family really is, and the countless ways that you can flourish within it.
In recent years the family has experienced a revival within Christian culture, but with this increased emphasis on the importance of the family, less value has been placed on God’s family, the church. Loving the Church explains the importance of God’s family and explores the beauty and joy of being a member of the household of God.
“Recovering and reaffirming the centrality of the church in God’s redemptive plan has never been more urgent than it is today. In his book Loving the Church, John Crotts calls us to renew our understanding of the church biblically and to demonstrate faithfulness to her. This book reminds us that there is no greater joy on earth than to be in God’s family, the church.”
— Tony Carter, Pastor and author of On Being Black and Reformed
“Before I was half-way through the book, I was thoroughly convinced of how much the Lord loves His church and how much I should love it, too! Loving the Church is a welcomed resource that clearly presents the value of the local church as God’s plan for His people to grow, serve, and worship Him. This book is engaging in style and clear in its explanation of pertinent Scriptures. I really liked it and I highly recommend it.”
— Martha Peace, Biblical counselor, author of The Excellent Wife and numerous other books
