Jungle Doctor Series: Books 1-6
First published in the 1950s by Moody Press, this was a highly popular series with youth (ages 8-14) based on the missionary experiences of Dr. Paul White in Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika, during his service there). After training many nationals to carry on the work he began, Dr. White returned to his home in Australia.
The message of the gospel never changes and continues to be ministered by those nationals, who labor to bring health to their fellow-Africans as well as the good news of Christ and His salvation. Bwana is the Chief Doctor, the one narrating these stories; Daudi is his assistant.
