About the Authors
Steve & Susie Castleberry have raised eight children in Poplar, Wisconsin and are the co-authors of 15 books.
Dr. Steve Castleberry is a professor in the University of Minnesota Duluth’s Marketing Department. He was appointed the Faculty Athletic Representative at UMD in July 2014. Castleberry oversees UMD’s marketing and graphic design major and joined the Labovitz School of Business and Economics faculty in 1992. Among the classes he currently teaches is Sports Marketing, which he helped create.
Prior to his arrival at UMD, he taught at Northern Illinois University and the University of Georgia.
A Prolific Writer
Castleberry has published forty-four journal articles in national publications. His current areas of research include informal organization of sales teams, sales training, salesperson listening, and business ethics.
Among the honors that have been bestowed on Castleberry are the Horace T. Morse Distinguished Teaching Award, Hormel Meritorious Teaching Award, Beta Gamma Sigma Professor of the Year Award, Ideal Industries Excellence in Teaching Award, Merrell Dow Outstanding Teacher of the Year, NCR Award for Outstanding Teaching in the Undergraduate Program, UMD Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award and the LSBE Faculty Service Award. He and his wife, Susie, have eight children and reside in Poplar, Wisconsin
