Girls of Courage Who Became Women of Influence

$19.00 $17.50

Courage: that trait of having mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty. The women highlighted in this volume exemplified great courage, often in a less-than-supportive environment. Their life work in science, medicine, the arts, education, research, evangelism, and government drastically improved the lives of people in their day and for generations to come.

May this book inspire us to use our God-given interests, gifts, and talents in a greater way to serve humanity and to glorify our great God. May we see obstacles as opportunities to courageously persevere and lead lives of purpose and great influence.

About the Author

Elsie Egermeier 1(1890-1986) is also the author of Boys of Grit Who Never Gave Up and the well-known Egermeier’s Bible Story Book.  She had great love for children. As a young teen, Elsie developed an interest in writing that later became a calling from God. When she wrote the volume that was destined to become a Christian classic for family worship, Egermeier’s Bible Story Book, she tested what she wrote by reading it to children to be sure they understood and enjoyed the stories.
