Books for Boys

How do you get a boy to read?  What will a boy read? I’ve often heard a boy declare, “I don’t like to read much” (or even firmer rejections of the idea than that).  Well, no one can offer guarantees and we won’t make any promises of being able to change that.  But it has been said, how good a job you did educating a child probably won’t be proven by them reading at age five, but rather whether they love to read at age thirty-five.

Meanwhile, to help you stir interest, these selections are the ones we regard as some of the best literature for boys, from authors like Harold Bell Wright, Charles Spurgeon, Solomon Schmidt and more.
